A memorable contribution to the week's programmes was Mustafa Raza's Bilaskhani Todi (Delhi, Sunday morning). In its various manifestations of sound and colour its design and fashioning the performance show sensibility and a real inhume feeling are the artists. He both classically and aenbtcally the music was near perfect. There were charmed moments when it seemed to soar form thou string impelled as it were, by its own power of exaltation.
